Pacifista, humanista, teólogo y profesor investigador.
Desde muy joven se destacó por sus ideales de servicio a la humanidad y su ferviente anhelo por promover la construcción de una sociedad más justa, tolerante e inclusiva; valores que lo impulsaron a especializarse en el estudio de las Escrituras, en la Historia Antigua, en la Historia de Israel, y posteriormente a desarrollar su visión como activista en favor de la familia humana.
